The Management Board of Orzeł Biały S.A. hereby notifies that the edition of Gazeta Giełdy Parkiet dated 6 March, 2009 in the article entitled „OCCP prohibited the acquisition of Baterpol by Orzeł Biały” featured a false piece of information as if allegedly the President of the management Board Zbigniew Rybakiewicz announced the collaboration of companies of Orzeł Biały S.A. and Baterpol Sp. z o.o.
Orzeł Biały S.A. and Baterpol Sp. z o.o. are fully independent entities operating on the market for treatment of hazardous waste from used batteries. Both businesses have never cooperated with each other in the past or are not at the moment. Also, during the OCCP merger proceedings all appropriate precautions have been applied to prevent any exchange of information constituting a trade secret of the transaction participants.
