The Management Board of Orzeł Biały S.A. with its registered office in Piekary Śląskie (hereinafter: “the Company”), with reference to the current report no. 18/2021, hereby inform about receiving from PTU PZU S.A. acting as a representant of Open-end Pension Fund PZU “Złota Jesień”, which is authorized shareholder, information about submitting a candidacy of Mr. Karol Zacharkiewicz for a member of the Supervisory Board.
The candidacy was submitted for consideration as part of the agenda of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company convened on January 20, 2022.
According to the submitted declarations, Mr. Karol Zacharkiewicz meets the requirements for an independent Member of the Supervisory Board set out in generally applicable laws, internal regulations of the Company and the Best Practices of WSE Listed Companies 2021.
Information on the candidate’s education, qualifications and professional work, the content of the declaration along with the consent to stand as well as the application submitted by the authorized shareholder is provided by the Issuer in the attachment.
